History
Founded in Hampton Roads in 1983, TCI has grown to become one of the region's largest providers of business technology solutions. We started in the telecommunications industry selling business telephone systems and structured cabling. As voice technology moved from analog to digital to VoIP, we brought on board the skillset needed to configure networks to support these advanced voice applications. This led to extending our support to offer managed IT services and network hardware support. In the early 2000's we added security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to our product portfolio. With cloud services, connectivity, contact center, and colocation added in 2017, TCI now offers the most complete technology stack in the market to support local businesses.
